The top Secret tip to manifestation

Have you ever watched the film “The Secret”? The Secret is a film based on the 2006 self-help book by Rhonda Byrne.

The film/documentary was an enormous success following on from Rhonda Byrne’s book: the Secret. It’s about the law of attraction and how to manifest the life of your dreams……

Is ‘The Secret’ a pseudoscience?

The law of attraction is a Universal law that states your thoughts manifest into reality. You attract more of what you think about all day long.

Another way to see manifestation is the more attention, energy or focus you give a thought, the more chance it will appear in your life experience: Thoughts become things.

We all manifest without realising it. If you think about red cars, you will begin to see more of them all day long. Your brain 🧠 is hard-wired to scan your environment and draw attention to what is familiar and relevant, whilst filtering out the unimportant.

The Wilkipedia definition

The brain works like a tuning device

The law of attraction is the New Thought spiritual belief that positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into a person’s life.[1][2] The belief is based on the idea that people and their thoughts are made from “pure energy” and that like energy can attract like energy, thereby allowing people to improve their health, wealth, or personal relationships. There is no empirical scientific evidence supporting the law of attraction, and it is widely considered to be pseudoscience.

Wilkipedia.org

This definition on wilkipedia.org claims the law of attraction is widely considered a pseudoscience. The law of attraction is not a proper science like Quantum Physics or Chemistry.

A pseudoscience is scientifically flawed and lacks validity. Nobody will ever find the ‘law of attraction’ or discover why it works. And because it’s NOT science, it has become misunderstood.

Why manifestation is misunderstood

The law of attraction is difficult for people to understand. How could by simply thinking about what you want manifest into reality? How could life be that simple?

If manifestation was that easy, then why are people working so hard at life? You struggle to pay bills, push to meet deadlines and when things go wrong, you beat yourself up!

It’s a nuisance, but at the same time, this internal conflict is common. The problem with this poverty mindset is it stops the law of attraction working for you and prevents you manifesting a better life.

Because manifestation pre-dates science, it is as Buddha once said:

“The thought manifests as the word. The word manifests as the deed. The deed develops into habit. And the habit hardens into character. So watch the thought and its ways with care. And let it spring from love, born out of concern for all beings.”

Buddha

Instead of the question, does the law of attraction really exist? You should ask yourself the question, what am I manifesting with my thoughts, feelings and actions? And what thoughts 💭 and beliefs do I really want to be thinking?

The Top Secret tip to manifest

When you’re faced with problems and your head starts to spin, relax, and stop worrying. Give up the effort of trying too hard to know all the answers.

When people push hard to achieve a goal, internal resistance kills their creativity. Their effort is all in vain.

So, when faced with resistance of any kind, just let it pass. Don’t react, go mad or try to fight your way out of it. Simply be with resistance until it fades away……..

Manifesting from stillness

Manifestation works better when you start from stillness. In fact, inspiration normally comes from a place of inner peace and contentment.

You can relax and calm your mind and do nothing. If you never start manifesting and you remain at peace, then at least you won’t manifest more drama. 🎭
