Thanks for liking, following and subscribing

Building a new blog is never easy. But many people are concerned about how many “likes” and “followers” they have.

Yesterday, I was reading an article on how young people are obsessed with social media. Accumulating a huge number of “likes”, “friends” or “followers” is synonymous with healthy self-esteem and sense of achievement.

Whereas a poor following can result in quite the opposite. This is another insight into why social media affects peoples’ mental health.

Life is not a popularity contest😎

Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice to be popular! But the attitude of needing recognition in order to feel good is greatly flawed.

The day your happiness depends on how many ‘likes’ and ‘followers’ you have, then social media will tell you when you’re going to be happy.

This day has already come for many people in the world today.

Don’t wait to be happy…..

Instead of stressing about whether your tik-tok video goes viral or your latest tweet will make a trillion, why not be happy right now?

How would you feel if you were already “successful”? And would it really change your life significantly in this moment?

Your attitude matters and affects the quality of what you do. But don’t let the outside world 🌎 or internet drain your energy. Instead enjoy your life as it unfolds now.

Stay connected and thanks to everybody who has liked, followed and subscribed to attitudecoach.org so far. It is greatly appreciated!

The reality is that building anything takes time. But with the right attitude and application, you can be as successful as you want to be.
